Primary Responsibilities- Serve beverages and food to guests, answering menu‑related questions.
- Prepare drinks for servers and maintain a high level of hospitality.
- Handle cashier duties for the lounge, including cash register operation and change making.
- Support teammates and contribute to a friendly, courteous, and timely service environment.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficient in English communication.
- Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Willingness to pitch‑in and assist coworkers in all job duties.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including various alcoholic beverages.
- Basic mathematics for cash register operation, change making, and cash handling.
- Physical ability: hand dexterity for garnishing, glassware handling, ice scooping, and reaching overhead; strength to lift, load, and transport up to 50 lb.
- Memory and verbal ability to recite and promote menu items.
- Keyboard and point‑of‑sale proficiency for order checking and check closing.
- Capability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Maintain professionalism at all times, treating guests and associates with courtesy, respect, and positivity. Every interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to guest relations.
Work HabitsMeet and exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality, and attendance. Adapt to changes, solve routine problems, and seek assistance when necessary.
Safety & SecurityAdhere to hotel security policies, including key control, safe handling of heavy objects, safe use of chemicals, and accurate reporting of safety hazards.
