As a Kitchen Manager, you'll play a vital role in the smooth operation of our kitchen, working alongside our talented culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences. WhatYou'll Do:
- Lead the Line:
Oversee food preparation and ensure timely execution of orders, maintaining our high standards for quality and presentation. - Inspire and Develop:
Assist in training and mentoring kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. - Menu Mastermind:
Contribute to menu development and recipe creation, bringing your culinary creativity to the table. - Inventory Ace:
Manage inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste. - Quality Control Champion:
Maintain impeccable sanitation standards and assist with health department inspections. - Problem Solver:
Address guest concerns and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring a positive dining experience. - Team Player:
Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize workflow and ensure seamless service. - Financial Steward:
Assist in monitoring and controlling food costs.
- A passion for food and culinary excellence.
- Proven experience in a kitchen environment (3-6 months preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- A positive attitude and a team-oriented approach.
- Serv Safe Food Manager certified.
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations, including food planning, purchasing, sanitation, and personnel management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge of food and beverage service equipment and current culinary trends.
