Job Summary
The Westin Tempe is looking for a Part‑Time Bartender to join our amazing team at the Skysill Pool and Lounge.
Hours & Shift- PM availability, Monday – Friday, including holidays

Responsibilities- Serve beverages and food to guests while answering menu related questions.
- Prepare drinks for servers, maintain a high level of hospitality, and handle cashier duties.
- Operate cash register, make change, total guest checks, prepare cash drops, understand portion sizes.
- Perform food preparation tasks and ensure proper stock management.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Self‑starting personality with an even disposition.
- Maintain professional appearance and manner at all times.
- Help co‑workers and be a team player.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Manual dexterity for garnish, glassware, scoop ice, mix drinks.
- Strength to lift, load, transport up to 50 lb.
- Recall and promote menu items.
- Operate keyboard and point‑of‑sale procedures.
- Stand and work in confined spaces for long periods.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Remain professional at all times, treat all guests and associates with courtesy and respect. Every associate is a guest relations ambassador.
Work HabitsMeet and strive to exceed hotel standards for work procedures, dress, grooming, punctuality and attendance. Adaptable to change and willing to learn new skills.
Safety & SecurityAdhere to hotel security policies, key controls, safe lifting, using chemicals, reporting hazards.
