Job Description

FUEL CENTER/CLERK at Kroger Mountain View Foods assists customers, manages the cash register, maintains cleanliness of the fuel center, recovers stock, fills incident and security reports, and complies with company procedures. Demonstrates Kroger’s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

• Model customer first behavior; deliver and encourage colleagues to provide excellent service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of the department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies and safety guidelines
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans, numbers and procedures
• Work cooperatively in a high‑paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve customer and business issues
• Provide support through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work without direct supervision

• Any related experience
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
