Position OverviewThe Associate Account Executive is a client‑facing, high‑activity sales support role designed to help our Sales Leaders execute across the entire sales cycle from early prospect engagement through proposal development, onsite walkthroughs, coordination, and post‑sale handoff. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, relationship‑driven environment and enjoys being in the field building trust with customers.
As an Associate Account Executive, you will work closely with senior sales leadership to support day‑to‑day execution and ensure that every opportunity progresses smoothly. You’ll assist with discovery, site visits, documentation, quoting support, CRM updates, follow‑ups, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams. This role is highly customer‑facing and you will play a critical role in maintaining a professional, responsive experience throughout the customer journey.
This position is a strong path toward growing into a full Account Executive role, developing deep sales skills, learning consultative selling, and building a strong foundation in customer engagement, project readiness, and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities- Support Sales Leaders in executing deals across the full sales cycle, from initial prospect engagement through close and handoff.
- Maintain momentum on active opportunities by tracking next steps, following up with customers, and coordinating internal resources.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, product configurations, and supporting documents to move deals forward efficiently.
- Help ensure customer expectations are clearly documented and communicated throughout the process.
- Attend customer meetings, onsite walkthroughs, and site assessments nearly every day alongside Sales Leaders.
- Represent the company professionally in the field — building trust and reinforcing a high‑touch customer experience.
- Take detailed notes during onsite visits and ensure accurate documentation of customer needs, scope, and requirements.
- Coordinate follow‑up actions after meetings and ensure customers receive timely next steps, proposals, and updates.
- Maintain clean and accurate CRM activity logs, notes, contact records, and opportunity updates.
- Track opportunities, key milestones, and next‑step commitments to support consistent pipeline execution.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, walkthroughs, demos, and stakeholder follow‑ups, ensuring efficient coordination with both customers and internal teams.
- Organize and manage job‑related documentation (site notes, photos, drawings, floor plans, requirements, approvals, etc.).
- 1–3+ years in a customer‑facing role (sales support, account support, customer success, retail/relationship‑based sales, operations, hospitality, or similar)
- Comfortable working in a high‑touch, in‑person role — willing and able to meet customers onsite nearly every day.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, timelines, and follow‑ups with consistency.
- Clear, professional communication skills — written, verbal, and in‑person.
- Ability to take detailed notes, capture requirements accurately, and translate customer needs into clear next steps.
- High level of reliability and ownership — follows through, stays accountable, and keeps work moving without being asked repeatedly.
- Proficiency with basic tools such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and willingness to learn CRM and quoting systems quickly.
