Sales Development Representative (Hybrid) – Trainual
OverviewTrainual is looking for a high‑performing SDR to join our growing sales squad. The role focuses on filling calendars with the right meetings, not just volume. As the first conversation our future customers have with Trainual, you’ll ensure every interaction is smart, personal, and aligned with our mission of simplifying operations for scaling teams.
What You’ll Own & Improve- Outbound prospecting with purpose – research, personalize outreach, and open conversations that lead to booking high‑quality discovery calls with our AEs for businesses in our ICP+ (100+ FTE teams scaling fast). Email, phone, Linked In, and other channels are all part of the playbook.
- Strategic partnership with AEs – work closely with Account Executives to turn prospects into pipeline, providing feedback, targeting strategies, and smooth handoffs to help book meetings that close.
- In‑office collaboration – our office in Tempe, right off Mill Ave, is where the sales team comes together. Team members are expected to be in the office at least one day per week (currently Tuesday, subject to change). You’re welcome to come in more often if desired.
- 1–3 years of SaaS SDR/BDR experience targeting SMB or mid‑market teams.
- Proficiency with tools such as Hub Spot, Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoom, and a CRM for managing outreach and pipeline.
- Customer‑centric mindset – learning about problems, asking layered questions, and connecting dots.
- Outbound expertise – building and testing personalized sequences, standing out in crowded inboxes, and making data‑driven decisions on when to pursue or walk away.
- Business acumen – using prospect judgment to focus effort on the highest‑value opportunities.
You’ll report to Sales Manager Ryan Burhans and partner with talented Account Executives to grow their pipeline and drive revenue growth for Trainual.
