This position is ideal for an experienced field sales or sales training professional to join the North America Learning & Development team as Sales Training Manager at our Tempe location, ensuring our Sales Associates and new hires are equipped with the knowledge and skills to win.

Reporting to North America Learning & Development leadership and directly enabling the success of the Sales Associate Program and field sales onboarding, you will play a key role in building out measurable, repeatable, and scalable onboarding training with a focus on the early-in-career cohorts. Your expertise will ensure our training programs and courses are relevant and realistic.

This is a full time position in our Tempe, AZ office.

• Collaborate with field sales leadership, marketing stakeholders, and commercial excellence to deliver strategic and relevant sales training
• Collaborate with sales training operations to build out training initiatives that apply instructional design rigor, contain appropriate modalities and content, and prove effectiveness at all levels
• Work with Area Field Training Managers and subject matter experts to ensure training solutions minimize waste/defects and have the most relevant and current information, are market tested, and pass our QA process
• Create, maintain, plan, and directly facilitate the sales associate new hire and continued education curriculum on a regular cadence
• Provide in person and virtual instructor led training based on project need
• Serve as a trusted business partner to internal stakeholders
• Use available data and KPIs to identify and prioritize skill development opportunities, monitor progress, analyze effectiveness, and report results to commercial leadership

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in science or business preferred or equivalent experience
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 6 years of recent sales experience; sales training experience with a background in pharmaceutical or medical device sales training preferred

  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadline-driven projects in a fast-paced, inclusive team environment; ability to own and adhere to sales training related processes and systems

• Instructional design, learning analytics, LMS/learning platforms administration
• Project management and project management software utilization
• MS Office Suite and Copilot integration

If provided, base salary or wage rate ranges are the range in which Align reasonably expects to set a candidate’s pay for the posted position. Actual placement depends on the individual skills and experience level of a candidate plus the total compensation and equity across team members. For other locations outside of the primary location, the base salary range will be adjusted geographically.

For Field Sales roles, the salary listed is the base pay only and does not include the applicable incentive compensation plan. A cost of living adjustment may be added to base pay for higher cost areas in the U.S.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
