As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Tempe, AZ
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas within the financial institution, deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to situations with professionalism.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual circumstances.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues within the location.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Assist visitors, employees, and/or contractors with inquiries while upholding security-related protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment.

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
