Lead Maintenance Technician (47226)
Join to apply for the Lead Maintenance Technician role at Two Coast Living.
Lead the ongoing facility maintenance and repairs of our multifamily properties, ensuring optimal operation and appearance.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and perform day‑to‑day maintenance activities; lead by example.
- Address work orders and repair issues before they become major problems.
- Utilize technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, CPO, electrical or plumbing) to handle critical tasks.
- Manage the Make‑Ready board so turnover work stays on schedule.
- Assist other technicians and complete assigned work orders.
- Engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents to resolve concerns.
- Maintain a safety‑first approach, utilizing EPA certifications and training the team on safety procedures.
- 5+ years of property maintenance experience, with at least one year supervising others.
- Technical certifications (HVAC, CPO, electrical, plumbing) preferred.
- High school diploma or GED; 4+ years relevant experience; 1+ year supervisory experience.
- Valid driver’s license; must maintain own toolkit; may use company or personal vehicle.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Works well in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Full‑time, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
- Occasional on‑call hours, occasional weekends.
- On‑call duties as set by Property Management team.
- Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance options.
- Auto‑enrollment in 401(k) after 60 days.
- 40 vacation hours accrued in first year; paid sick leave per state requirements; holiday pay/paid holidays.
