Seller Partner Identify Verification works to identify, rectify and prevent sellers from misrepresenting their identity. A Day in the Life

An engineer in Selling Partner Identity Verification will spend their day collaborating with their teammates on designs for new systems, providing code review feedback for their peers, writing code to implement new software as well as update legacy software, working with business partners to define requirements and drive better experiences for our customers. An engineer in Seller Lifecycle Management spends time addressing operational excellence for software they own, identifying issues in existing systems, proposing solutions and resolving those through the natural software development lifecycle, while proposing changes to team process and mechanisms to prevent future gaps in their software.

Basic

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
