Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Warehouse Associate to join our TEAM! As a Warehouse Associate, we need someone who will own a variety of material handling duties, including receiving, loading/unloading materials, pulling/assembling customer orders, and conducting inventory checks. This position involves the daily use of forklifts and/or cranes.

Performs a variety of material handling duties associated with the warehouse.

• Performs a variety of warehouse duties such as pulling/assembling customer orders, checking outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restocking and labeling vendor products, maintaining displays (tools, caulk, etc.), moving, storing, and replenishing material, and conducting daily cycle counts.
• Performs receiving duties such as receiving and unloading inbound material, processing inbound shipments, stocking material, processing customer returns, and notifying management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Operates crane forklift equipment.
• Maintains a clean and organized facility by sweeping, removing trash, restroom, and performing general office maintenance, etc.
• May wait on customers and prepare sales slips.
• Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions, and acts to Management.
• Performs other related duties as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience;
  Certified Forklift Operator
• Crane Forklift experience+
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience preferred.

Basic math skills, organization skills, customer service skills, fluency in English, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. The associate must be able to regularly lift to 15-30 lbs, and at certain times, you may be required to safely lift to 70 lbs.

Tile boxes or other materials that weigh over 36 inches or more than 70 lbs. require a team lift. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
