Warehouse Associate​/Driver

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate/Driver is primarily responsible for transporting construction equipment and material to and from job sites. In addition, may need to assist in loading and unloading the equipment and material and additional related responsibilities, as directed.

• Deliver supplies and various equipment to job sites - strict adherence to DOT rules and regulations.
• CDL license preferred, but not required.
• Load and unload tools and equipment onto trucks and/or trailers.
• Assist with warehouse inventory and day-to-day warehouse tasks.
• Operate power equipment such as winches, chain saws, and hydraulic equipment such as aerial lifts (buckets), diggers-derricks mounted on trucks, hand tools, etc.
• Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor at construction project sites.
• Work in remote and rough terrain locations.
• Maintain vehicle logs and records, as required, according to State and Federal regulations.
• Monitor vehicle performance and report malfunctions.
• Obey all traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Perform other responsibilities as required or assigned.

• 3+ years' related experience;
  Class A CDL license preferred, not required.
• An acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR), per the company's established requirements in order to be eligible to operate a vehicle on company business.
• Working knowledge and ability of proper and safe use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in construction helpful.
• Current DOT Medical card.
• Must be able to meet all Federal Motor Carrier Regulation standards.
• Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities.
• Must have ability to work day, evenings or night shifts and overtime; emergency call-outs, weekends and holidays, as the needs of the business necessitate.
