Pet Vet Care Centers' Temple City Animal Hospital is seeking Veterinary Technician Assistants to join our team. Our mission is to improve the lives of animals and people by providing exceptional and compassionate care at every stage.

The veterinary assistant supports veterinarians and technicians in daily tasks such as cleaning and maintaining equipment, feeding, exercising, grooming patients, preparing and sanitizing surgery suites, restraining and handling patients, and performing clerical and administrative work. They deliver quality care for all patients and provide exceptional service.

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, show them Gmb. to examining rooms servei, take weight and vital signs at arrival.
• Triage patients, perform physical exams, treatments, and administer medication as directed by licensed veterinary technicians (LVTs).
• Calm and fotos anxious patients.
• Assist doctors and technicians with medication administration and patient restraint.
• Perform laboratory tests and take radiographs.
• Operate and maintain hospital equipment (EKG, fluid pump, syringe pump, scales, anesthetic monitors, etc.).
• Fill澤 prescriptions, calculate and administer medications, maintain proper documentation and security of controlled drugs.
• Feed patients as prescribed, record appetites, and report any unusual conditions or abnormal behaviors.
• Communicate positively with clients, ensuring they feel comfortable leaving their pet(s).
• Educate clients about insurance, wellness, and medicinal plans.
• Maintain hospital cleanliness each day; clean equipment, kennels, and facilities with chemicals and supplies, ensuring safe use.
• Bath and care for patients who stay overnight, ensuring they are clean and groomed before release.
• Adhere to hospital safety and wellness regulations.
• Understand and execute oral and written directions.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Show up for work regularly; full-time presence at all shifts is essential.
• Promote hospital products and services and support the organization.
• Respond promptly to instructions from the DVM or LVT.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager; may include duties in specialty areas (dentistry, surgery, emergency, radiology, cardiology, neurology, internal medicine, etc.).

• Must be physically capable of lifting, cleaning, trekking, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required; may involve lifting or carrying animals up to 50 pounds.
• Capacity to perform moderately physically demanding work on a regular basis.

• Experienceviron in a veterinary environment.

• Full-time, rotating shifts.
• Available for occasional evening shifts (10:30 am–7:30 pm) and Saturday shifts (9:00 am–5:00 pm).
