A Typical Day...
As a Multi-Unit Team Leader, you will oversee three H&R Block offices, leading customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business. You will manage associate development, ensure excellent client service, and meet growth objectives across the offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.
You will start part-time in the fall to prepare for tax season, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours. This role requires in-person work and travel between offices.
Preferred Qualifications...
- Experience managing multiple teams in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries.
Responsibilities...
- Manage staffing, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.
- Collaborate with the District General Manager to develop growth plans and community partnerships.
- Assist in recruiting and performance management of office staff.
- Create a positive team environment through training and coaching.
- Lead team meetings and communicate effectively with associates.
- Manage schedules, timekeeping, and labor in all offices.
- Travel as needed between offices.
- Prepare tax returns if qualified, after completing required training.
Qualifications...
- People management experience with a focus on development.
- Ability to execute growth strategies and lead a growth-oriented culture.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; tax qualification preferred.
