Experience: Manager

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

• 1. Overseeing job costing activities, ensuring accurate allocation of costs and resources.
• 2. Maintaining the general ledger, including the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliation.
• 3. Preparing, reviewing, and distributing monthly financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• 4. Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• 5. Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing variances, and providing feedback to management.
• 6. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
• 7. Participating in the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors, and addressing any issues raised.
• 8. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• 9. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.

• 1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction industry.
• 3. Proficiency in job costing, general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and AP/AR management.
• 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
• 5. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• 6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 7. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• 8. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• 9. A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• 10. CPA certification is highly desirable but not essential.
