Job Description

Position:
Porter, Gerber Collision & Glass – Temple, TX

  • 1–2 years prior automotive cleaning, porter, and/or maintenance preferred.
  • Maintains appearance and cleanliness of shop and office facilities.
  • Pre-washes customer vehicles prior to repairs beginning.
  • Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs are complete.
  • Transport of customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Maintain the daily housekeeping of the office interior: emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, dusting countertops and work area.
  • Maintain the daily housekeeping of the production area: emptying waste cans, sweeping floors, disposing of unwanted vehicle parts, placing tools in their proper location.
  • Maintain parking lots and grounds neat and orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary.
  • Pre-wash customer vehicles prior to repairs.
  • Exterior and interior cleanup of customer vehicles after repairs.
  • Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs.
Education and/or Experience Required
  • High school diploma / GED preferred.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Automotive experience preferred.
  • Clear close vision required.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Compensation Details
  • $13.00 – $18.00+ per hour.
