Overview
Optometrist (Ideal Eye Team) at VSP Ventures. This is a full-time position based in Temple, TX with Wildflower Vision, part of the Ideal Eye team. The role involves comprehensive optometry for patients of all ages, use of advanced diagnostic equipment, and collaboration with a team to deliver high-quality eye care.
Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr

What You’ll Do- Engage in comprehensive optometry for patients of all ages with a range of visual and medical conditions.
- Provide thorough eye care, educate patients about ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products.
- Utilize advanced equipment (e.g., Optos, glaucoma testing tools, electronic lensometer, tonometer, phoropter) to deliver high-quality care.
- Work full-time Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with an expected patient load and a production bonus of 14.5%.

Job Specifications & Qualifications- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree; TPA licensure certificate.
- 1–3 years of clinical practice experience; new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and commitment to outstanding patient service.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in job duties.
The working environment is generally favorable with adequate lighting and temperature; no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise or dust are expected.
