Job Description & How to Apply Below
Subspecialty fellowship training within the past 10 years is desirable. Experience in interpreting PET/CT and general Nuclear Medicine examinations is also desirable. McKesson PACS and voice recognition transcription capabilities link a large outpatient clinic in Austin, a large veteran's psychiatric hospital in Waco, and four outlying community-based outpatient clinics with the main medical center in Temple. The Imaging Service performs approximately 125,000 exams per year and utilizes five 1.5 T MRI units, six multi-detector CT scanners, eight diagnostic ultrasound machines, and two digital mammography units.
A Nuclear Medicine section is integrated into the service at the Temple facility. Primary after-hours on-call exam interpretations are handled by a robust and reliable teleradiology service.
