Gastroenterologist position at Baylor Scott & White Health

Location: Temple, TX (Waco, TX Rotation)

Baylor Scott & White Health is a tertiary referral center in Temple, Texas, with a 636‑bed multi‑specialty teaching hospital and Level I Trauma designation. The center hosts 9 fellows, 13 GI faculty, 10 APPs, a GI dietician, GI social worker, GI pharmacist, and four colorectal surgeons.

Position Highlights
  • General Gastroenterologist, ERCP not required.
  • Comfortable teaching with fellows and Advanced Practice Professionals.
  • Call: 1:14, covering one hospital; fellows take first call.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care including clinic services, inpatient consults, and procedural services.

Qualifications
  • MD or DO.
  • Licensed medical physician.
  • Will obtain Texas medical license by start date.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology and BC/BE in Internal Medicine.
