Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Medical Director opening in TexasLocated in Temple, TX - Austin 67mSeeking a Physiatrist to join their medical staff in Temple, TX as Inpatient Medical Director. This independent contractor position will collaborate with the CEO in providing quality care to the patients in our 36 bed acute rehabilitation hospital. In this position, you will provide comprehensive care to patients, working alongside our CEO and clinical team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

This role requires adherence to the facility's policies, state and federal regulations, including CMS and the Joint Commission standards. Certified and maintains all board certifications in his or her specialty areas by a nationally recognized board.

Demonstrates appropriate experience or training to provide rehabilitation services through one of the following: A formal residency in PMR A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year Has completed a one-year hospital internship with a minimum of two years' of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services
