Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an additional, fellowship-trained, BC/BE Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join the Section of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Pacing at our Central Texas Division. Our Electrophysiology team covers the growing population of Temple, Round Rock, Lakeway, Killeen and Waco. Six board-certified electrophysiologists and five advanced practice providers cover five hospitals and several outpatient clinics in the region as a team.
Duties include inpatient and outpatient consultation, follow up, device implants, and catheter-based ablation in several locations on a rotating schedule. Additional duties include teaching for cardiology fellows and working closely with Cardiology Subspecialties and Cardio-Thoracic surgery. Device implantation and catheter ablation are currently available in several facilities with three electrophysiology laboratories and a Stereotaxis Robotic Navigation system in Temple.
Responsibilities- Inpatient and outpatient consultation and follow-up for electrophysiology patients
- Device implantation and catheter ablation across multiple facilities
- Coordinate care with Cardiology Subspecialties and Cardio-Thoracic surgery
- Teach cardiology fellows
- Participate in rotating schedules across locations
- Board certified in cardiovascular disease with fellowship training in EP and board certified/eligible in EP Cardiology
- Experience in cardiac rhythm device implantation and catheter-based ablation
