The employee in this position supports and assists school leaders in their ministry, engaging in ministry for the Church.
Job SummaryThe Admissions Director plans and implements the overall admission process, making decisions within school policies. The position is hired and evaluated by the principal.
Essential Duties- Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the school's mission.
- Model Gospel values and participate in religious activities for personal growth.
- Support school policies and procedures.
- Develop and execute comprehensive admission strategies, including events and orientations.
- Conduct pre-registration and maintain admission materials and digital marketing.
- Manage student records and serve as a resource for related questions and training.
- Coordinate inquiries with local pastors regarding eligibility and enrollment.
- Communicate effectively with the school community and prospective families.
- Support office staff and prepare statistical reports.
- Maintain student record archiving and photography permissions.
- Assist with family directory preparation.
- Knowledge of Catholic teachings.
- Skills in multitasking, technology use, critical thinking, and professionalism.
- Ability to organize, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work well with others and serve as a school ambassador.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited university.
- Two years of full-time related work experience.
- Valid Texas driver's license.
- Compliance with Diocese of Austin EIM policies.
- Meet minimum teaching field requirements and staff development guidelines.
Includes fast-paced environment, religious ceremonies, adherence to dress code, potential travel, and working outside regular hours.
