Plant Engineering Manager

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a Plant Engineering Manager for our manufacturing facility in Temple, Texas. The Plant Engineering Manager manages multiple plant processes and technologies. You will report to the Plant Manager and work onsite at the plant.

• Provide a safe, healthy and productive work environment for all employees through accurate maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Manage a three shift, 5-day Maintenance Support function; ensure that each Maintenance Department subordinate understands and aligns to all applicable laws, standards, and policies.
• Lead associates, encouraging a continuous improvement of individual performance.
• Lead the maintenance department, control specialist and capital projects and preventative maintenance systems.
• Provide plant engineering and maintenance support for the manufacturing plant.
• Facilitate improvement projects to help improve cost reduction, process improvement, safety and compliance.
• In collaboration with local staff, manage the engineering and installation of capital projects to meet our needs in growth, maintaining existing capacity and improve position in safety, cost, or quality.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent Engineering education
• 7+ years of engineering project management and maintenance management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous management experience required.
• Process safety management (PSM) experience required.
