Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lender to join their dynamic team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of a commercial lending portfolio by identifying, securing, and managing new business opportunities. This Commercial Lender will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, evaluating complex financial needs, and delivering tailored lending solutions to meet the business objectives of commercial clients.

• Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as their primary point of contact for all commercial lending needs.
• Loan Origination: Originate commercial loans, including conducting market research, assessing client financials, and structuring loan terms and conditions.

  Perform comprehensive credit analysis and risk assessments to evaluate loan viability and ensure compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and risk tolerance.
• Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of loan agreements, ensuring they align with both client requirements and company policies.
• Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio of commercial loans, ensuring timely repayments and identifying opportunities for additional lending or refinancing.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with underwriting, legal, and other internal teams to ensure smooth loan processing and risk mitigation.
• Market Knowledge & Business Development: Stay informed of market trends and emerging opportunities, identifying new business prospects and contributing to the growth of the commercial lending division.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all lending activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal company policies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong background in commercial real estate and C&I lending.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lending, with a proven track record of managing and originating commercial loans.
• Strong knowledge of commercial lending products, credit risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Commercial loan underwriting experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and loan documentation.
