Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Molecular & Theranostic Imaging

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures, maintain imaging equipment, ensure patient and radiation safety, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and medical staff.

Location: USA – Round Rock, Marble Falls
Experience: 1–30 Years
Compensation: USD 71,000 – 105,000
Visa Status: US Citizens, Green Card holders

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) following established protocols.
  • Evaluate imaging quality and maintain equipment through routine quality control checks.
  • Work with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal operational capabilities.
  • Communicate with patients to ensure correct exams, explain procedures, and establish rapport.
  • Position patients correctly and use immobilization devices as needed; adhere to infection‑control and aseptic techniques.
  • Safeguard patients and team members by following all radiation safety policies and protocols.
  • Verify correct radiopharmaceuticals and screen patients for pregnancy; administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and educate patients on radiation safety.
  • Follow proper radiation disposal guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management, ordering radiopharmaceuticals, and quality control.
  • Work closely with colleagues, nursing staff, and radiologists; ensure accurate transfer of patient images to PACS for clinical review and dictation.
  • Observe patient conditions and communicate changes to medical teams.
  • Provide services across all age groups, from newborn to geriatric patients.
  • Train and mentor new team members and students.
  • Maintain knowledge of current procedures, regulations, and best practices; use electronic systems such as PACS, EMR, modality worklists, and Microsoft Office; take on‑call as required.
Required Qualifications
  • ARRT‑Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT‑N) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT).
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures, equipment, and radiation safety.
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under stress.
