Location:

Progressive Health Occ Health, LLC – Temple, TX

Progressive Health is seeking a dynamic PRN Athletic Trainer to join our team at a distribution facility in Temple, TX. This role focuses on injury prevention and ergonomic support, providing a unique opportunity to make a real difference in employee safety and wellness within an industrial environment. Responsibilities:
  • Providing proactive injury prevention, injury care, assessment, and medical triage as per OSHA standards, including ergonomic education and escalation of medical care if needed.
  • Conducting ergonomic assessments and supporting site operations by understanding job processes and physical demands to recommend ergonomic improvements.
  • Delivering health and wellness education and physical conditioning programs.
  • Collaborating with medical and safety staff to support occupational health initiatives.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and providing feedback for continuous health improvements.
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training.
    • Valid state licensure, certification, and registration, or ability to obtain it.
    • CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain prior to employment; current certification required.
    • Knowledge of workers' compensation and OSHA regulations preferred.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and sit during shifts.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team.
    • Confidentiality and professionalism.
    • Proficiency with computers, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
