Job DescriptionWe are seeking skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapists to join our network of healthcare professionals. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work closely with oncologists and other medical staff to deliver radiation treatments safely and effectively to patients. Assignments are available in hospitals, cancer treatment centers, and outpatient clinics, offering flexibility, competitive compensation, and professional growth opportunities.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients using advanced radiation therapy equipment.
- Accurately position patients and ensure proper immobilization for safe and precise treatment.
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions or concerns.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and medical physicists to implement treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of treatments, patient progress, and machine usage.
- Perform routine equipment checks and follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy required.
- Current state license (if applicable).
- BLS certification required.
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred; new graduates will be considered.
- Strong technical skills with radiation therapy equipment and software.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
