The Temple Memorial campus is a 636‑bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. It is one of eight nationally accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Centers in Texas.
Full Time – Days & Nights Available – 36 hours per week
Unit SummarySTC 3 is a 35‑bed monitored hospital unit that cares for a unique population of patients ranging from young adults to geriatrics. Our diverse patient population includes complex urology patients, pulmonary hypertension patients, kidney and pancreas transplant patients, peritoneal dialysis patients, and radioactive implant cases. STC 3 is the only unit in the hospital that performs peritoneal dialysis. STC 3 is the only floor equipped with lead‑lined rooms to care for patients receiving radioactive therapies in the inpatient setting.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Peritoneal Dialysis management
- Epidural
- Continuous Bladder Irrigation
- Nephrostomy and Urostomy care
- Complex urinary catheter insertions and care
- Suprapubic catheter insertion and care
- Fistula access
You'll also have the opportunity to train in ultrasound guided IV insertion, expanding your clinical expertise and contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
Professional Growth- Certified Clinical Transplant Nurse (CCTN)
- Certified Peritoneal Dialysis Nurse (CPDN)
- Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN)
- Certified Urology Nurse (CURN)
- Medical‑Surgical Nursing Certification (CMSRN)

- Graduate of RN School of Nursing
- ADN required; BSN preferred
- Active RN License
- Minimum of 6 months of RN experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Graduate of an accredited program
- Specialized field of study should be nursing
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of starting in this role
