Day Shift Charge RN – Observation Unit

Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX is seeking a Day Shift Charge RN to join our 37‑bed Observation Unit on STC‑2. This 636‑bed specialty teaching hospital is the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.

Full‑time – 36 hours per week – Days.

The Observation Unit serves adults and geriatrics, diagnosing, monitoring and treating patients within 36 hours. Scope of service includes:

• Chest pain
• Congestive heart failure (CHF)
• Syncope
• Dehydration
• Abdominal‑gastrointestinal conditions

• Graduate of an accredited RN school (ADN required; BSN preferred)
• Active RN license
• Minimum of 6 months RN experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer

• Graduate of an accredited program in nursing
• 2 years of nursing experience
