American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring Level 1 trauma facility experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR experience required
- Level 1 trauma facility experience required
- Experience with trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, and urology surgical procedures
- Two professional references required
- Flu vaccination mandatory with no exemptions granted
- Operating Room setting within a Level 1 trauma facility
- Trauma, general, gynecology, orthopedic, transplant, and urology surgical cases
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Night shift schedule with two rotation options:
Mon-Thu 9pm-7:30am or Fri-Sun 7pm-7:30am - Weekend coverage required for one of the shift rotations
- No on-call responsibilities
- Scrubs provided
- 13-week assignment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Candidates who previously worked as permanent employees at any Baylor facility must undergo an eligibility verification process before consideration
