• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior or activities and report findings according to established protocols.
• Support access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required.
• Assist with crowd management and help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted activities within the location.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or customers to provide information and assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client site protocols.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas roles.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred.
• Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Baton Certification is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
