Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing commercial refrigeration systems in various settings.

• Install commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot systems during installation.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and local/national regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Install wiring to connect components to power sources.
• Braze or solder defective joints and leaks.
• Be available for out-of-town travel/work on a weekly basis.
• Have or are willing to obtain basic tools for the job.

• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal preferred)
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration installation
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems
• Proficiency in using HVAC tools and knowledge of refrigeration cycles
• Strong problem-solving abilities, troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• High school diploma or GED, HVAC certification preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in confined spaces for extended periods
• Capable of climbing ladders and standing for long durations
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
