Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview

This Heavy Equipment Operator role is hosted by Jay O'Brien through Jobot. You will operate heavy machinery such as loaders, box blades, skid steers, excavators, and dozers on Central Texas sitework and excavation projects. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship across residential and commercial sites.

$18.00/hr – $25.00/hr

• Operate equipment including loaders, box blades, skid steers, excavators, and dozers.
• Support excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement activities.
• Maintain safe, efficient work practices on active job sites.
• Conduct daily inspections and perform minor maintenance on equipment.
• Work collaboratively with foremen and crews to meet project goals.

• 1–3 years of experience operating heavy machinery in construction or site development.
• Understanding of excavation and dirt operations preferred.
• Strong attention to safety, communication, and teamwork.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
