Massage Therapist

Overview

Massage Therapist role at JCC Association of North America. The Kaplen JCC on the Palisades is seeking a spa massage therapist. This position primarily works with members by delivering a variety of spa services (body treatments, massages, waxing).

• Deliver a variety of spa services
• Maintain and keep a clean and stocked room
• Respond and help with all customer inquiries
• Provide a schedule
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
• Cooperate with and report to administration with any issues
• Develop clientele by seminars, workshops, demo days, etc.
• Keep the work room/area safe and clean
• Work with other therapists to share space, rooms, and time
• Help sell services and products by working with the fitness desk
• Cross promote fitness programs the JCC has to offer
• Provide services for members per diem including but not limited to massages, facials, waxing, therapeutic services, etc.

• Meet appropriate certifications/qualifications to perform services
• Customer service oriented and result driven
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (on-site training provided as needed)
• Deliver a variety of spa services
• Provide a clean and stocked work room
• PPE Gear required
• Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations
• Other duties as needed
• Develop clientele by seminars, workshops, demo days, etc.

• Requires long periods of standing or sitting
• Ability to lift 50 lbs

• Provide services for members per diem including but not limited to massages, facials, waxing, therapeutic services, etc.
