. These schools are dedicated to ensuring that every pupil receives the support they need to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN). This role offers an immediate start and provides the opportunity to make a genuine and lasting impact on a child's educational journey.

As a 1:1 ALN Teaching Assistant
, you will work closely with individual pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, develop key skills, and engage positively within the classroom environment.

• Provide tailored one-to-one support to pupils with Additional Learning Needs
• Support learning activities both inside and outside the classroom
• Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Assist with emotional regulation and social development
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant
  , Learning Support Assistant
  , Classroom Assistant
  , or ALN Support Worker
• Experience supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including:
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH)
  • Behavioural and communication needs
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
• A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach
• A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people
