Please, note this role is a 4 hours contract and weekend availability may be required.

You’ll report to the Shop Manager and sit within our Retail team.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience – meeting the A.C.E pillars (Be Friendly, Be Inspiring and Be Invaluable) throughout the customer journey and maintaining a high level of shop KPIs.
  • Promote multichannel shopping by using the mobile point of sale system (mPOS) to show customers the products available across our channels and creating endless aisle orders.
  • Engage customers with our brand by signing them up to email newsletters, tagging purchases to their profile, and sending e‑receipts in line with data protection regulations.
  • Use knowledge of promotions or discounts available to inform customers and increase sales.
  • Assist in events, including customer events and preview evenings.
  • Product presentation and visual standards – maintain high visual standards in‑store, help with floor moves, mannequin and window displays, and replenishment.
  • Understand the features (fits, style, fabrics) of our product ranges and explain these to customers to support their buying decisions.
  • Shop operations – process deliveries, ensure on‑floor availability of products, and support stock‑management processes such as stocktakes.
  • Use company resources such as the White Stuff website, Looking White Stuff, the Tea Room, email communications, window guidelines and brand posts to engage customers and meet daily/weekly actions.
  • Be a team player, participate actively in team briefs and support internal customers, head‑office departments, centre management, and other visitors.
  • Understand and comply with health & safety and emergency procedures in store.
  • Efficiently and accurately fulfil ship‑from‑store and click‑and‑collect processes.
  • Doing Good – be aware of our charity partner and support any events or charity promotions.
  • Explain ethical sourcing and environmental impact to customers and the team.
