Randstad Education is searching for a resilient and passionate Science Teacher to join a coastal secondary school within the Tendring District. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys the unique character of North Essex and is committed to raising aspirations in a community‑focused setting.

• Pay Rate: £140 – £170 per day (Weekly PAYE)

• Plan and deliver Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons tailored to the needs of students in the Tendring area.
• Prepare students for their AQA or Edexcel GCSEs, focusing on core practicals and scientific literacy.
• Maintain a positive, high‑energy classroom environment that encourages student participation.
• Participate in school‑wide initiatives, such as STEM clubs or local community projects.
• Work closely with the Science Technician team to ensure all experiments are safe and effective.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a must.
• A strong degree in a Science discipline.
• The ability to build strong relationships with students from diverse backgrounds.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one).
