Hiring Now - Outreach Tutors Needed in Clacton-on-Sea & Surrounding Areas!
Are you passionate about making a difference in education? New Way Tuition Ltd is looking for dedicated Outreach Tutors to provide English and Maths tuition for Secondary and SEN students in Clacton-on-Sea and nearby areas. Sessions take place in homes, libraries, or schools, supporting those outside mainstream education.
What You'll Do- Deliver 1:1 tuition in English and Maths (up to GCSE/Functional Skills)
- Motivate and support students with SEN, SEMH, or those at risk of exclusion
- Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs
- Use creative resources and strategies to enhance student engagement
- Tutoring or teaching experience (SEN experience is a plus!)
- Strong Literacy and Numeracy skills (up to GCSE level)
- QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or a relevant degree (preferred but not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and great communication skills
- An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
