We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the Tendring area. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through high-quality music teaching and contribute to a thriving performing arts department.

The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a love of music, encouraging creativity, and helping students develop both their practical and theoretical musical skills.

You will:

• Deliver engaging and inspiring Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and teach creative, high-quality lessons that support student progress
• Encourage participation in music performance, composition and appreciation
• Support extracurricular music activities, performances and school productions
• Monitor and assess student achievement, providing constructive feedback
• Contribute positively to the wider school community

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education
• Has excellent classroom management skills
• Can motivate and inspire students of all abilities
• Is a committed team player with excellent communication skills
