Salary: £65,000 per annum

Qualification: RGN Required (Active NMC Pin)

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a highly regarded elderly nursing home near Clacton‑on‑Sea area, who are seeking an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join their leadership team.

This well‑established home provides nursing, dementia and residential care and has a strong reputation for high‑quality, person‑centred care. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead looking to step into a supportive, leadership role.

• Support the Home Manager in the day‑to‑day clinical and operational running of the home
• Lead, mentor and develop the nursing and care teams
• Ensure the home consistently delivers safe, effective and high‑quality care
• Oversee clinical governance, audits, care planning and compliance
• Work closely as part of a multi‑disciplinary team
• Act as a positive role model with a hands‑on, supportive leadership style

• RGN qualification with an active NMC pin
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager (or equivalent Clinical Lead role)
• Previous experience working within a nursing home environment
• Strong background in elderly and dementia nursing care
• A genuine passion for elderly care and clinical excellence
• Confident leadership, communication and organisational skills
