Your RoleAs an Automotive Technician / Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are in top shape. Your expertise will help us deliver outstanding service and build lasting relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair vehicles using your knowledge and skills.
- Gain experience working on a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
- Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Collaborate with your team to troubleshoot customer concerns efficiently.
- Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- Communicate effectively with the service department regarding customer issues.
- Work together with fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve customers.
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
- Ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
- Meet or exceed hourly goals consistently.
- A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
- A desire for long-term career development.
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
- Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
- Comfortable working in tight spaces as needed.
- Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
- Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
- Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
- Proficient in navigating a computer.

This position is at a Christian Brothers Automotive location that is independently owned and operated by a local licensed franchisee.
