Completed the entire process of discipline‑specific CWPs (Construction Work Packages) and IWPs (Installation Work Packages) including development, implementation, and tracking of progress for basic projects. Assists the Discipline Superintendent in identifying and resolving material delivery issues, generating material takeoff/bill of material, and coordinating with heritage discipline superintendents and general foremen to ensure field readiness.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, develop, issue, and track progress of all CWPs and IWPs for basic projects.
- Participate in integrated planning sessions for IWPs; produce discipline‑specific IWPs.
- Coordinate and collaborate with discipline superintendents and/or general foremen to secure buy‑in before field release.
- Verify engineered quantities and coordinate commodities curves and project controls.
- Verify installations and completion status weekly, and resolve design, schedule, change, safety, or quality issues.
- Interpret RFIs and manage documentation flow.
- Provide constructible responses and assist in vendor representative oversight.
- Maintain daily site log and monitor contractor/craft punch list activities.
- Support commercial recovery (RFMP, WA, back charge, etc.) and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety and compliance with construction standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (4‑year degree preferred).
- At least 2+ years of construction or construction‑management experience, or design experience in similar facility construction.
- Working knowledge of cost control, scheduling, engineering drawings, and other documents.
- Ability to conduct material takeoffs and field estimates.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements, which may include a criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances in confined, cluttered places.
- Perform repetitive hand motions and use tools as required.
- May work at heights up to 5 feet and above, using ladders, scaffolds, and steel framework.
- Work up to a 12‑hour shift in varying temperature extremes and outdoor conditions.
