• You have 3+ years of professional copy editing experience (i.e., not just editing your college roommateu
  2019s papers)
• You have expertise in the AP Stylebook and Chicago Manual of Style and the ability to adapt to in-house style guides
• You have proficiency in editing electronically with Microsoft Wordu
  2019s track changes f eature (familiarity with Adobe InCopy and CMS platforms is a plus)
• You have strong communication skills, an ability to manage consistent work with varying deadlines, and a spirit of collaboration for working with writers, marketers and team leaders
• You have an open mind and teachable spiritu

• Ensuring every written piece is edited with excellence and promptly returned to the original writer for finalization
• Serving as a fact-checker in every written piece to verify the accuracy of math, statistics, Scripture references, names, dates, phone numbers, addresses, URLs, etc.
