Position Overview

Virtua Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Interventional Gastroenterologist to join our rapidly expanding Digestive Health program. This is a unique opportunity to build and grow an advanced endoscopy program within a high‑performing, physician‑led organization.

You will join a collaborative team of more than 50 gastroenterologists and subspecialists delivering comprehensive digestive care across South Jersey.

About the Program

Virtua GI & Digestive Health offers a fully integrated, multidisciplinary model , including:

• Interventional gastroenterology
• Hepatology and liver care
• IBD specialists and motility program
• Colorectal surgery, oncology, and nutrition services

The interventional GI team focuses on diagnosing and treating complex pancreaticobiliary and GI disorders using minimally invasive, advanced endoscopic techniques.

Procedural Focus

This role is ideal for a physician with advanced training in:

• ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography)
• EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound)
• Advanced polypectomy and EMR/and possiblyESD
• Luminal stenting and management of GI malignancies
• Barrett’s esophagus therapies (e.g., ablation), available if interested
• Pancreaticobiliary interventions

Responsibilities
