Educational Assistant

We are seeking an Educational Assistant to work in an in-school suspension or special education environment. Candidates will help reinforce skills, answer questions, and provide constructive academic feedback.

• Hold an associate’s degree or higher, or have an equivalent of two years of college coursework totaling 48 hours at an accredited institution, or pass the Education Testing Service (ETS) Para-Pro Assessment.
• Working computer knowledge.
• Multi-tasked oriented, firm, team player.
• Must be able to work with small groups of students to reinforce skills, answer questions, and provide constructive academic feedback.
• Must be a positive role model for young children.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Establish effective schedule and work routines.
• Able to work under the direction of a certified teacher and complete assigned work-related duties.
