Emphasis will be placed on teaching students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses.
Responsibilities- CHEM 1010/1020 – Introductory Chemistry I & II with laboratory
- CHEM 1110/1120 – General Chemistry I & II with laboratory
- CHEM 2010/2020 – Organic Chemistry I & II with laboratory
Chemistry courses are offered at the following campuses:
Oak Ridge, Roane, Cumberland, and Campbell county.
Teaching loads may include day or evening hours and/or satellite campuses.

Teaching students in on-ground lecture and laboratory courses.
Minimum Qualifications- For Introductory/General Chemistry lectures:
Master’s degree with 18 or more graduate semester hours in chemistry from a regionally accredited institution. - For Organic Chemistry lectures:
Graduate coursework in organic chemistry.
Previous experience teaching lecture and laboratories is desired.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities- Demonstrated ability to teach traditional face-to-face classes.
- Use of technology (Zoom, D2L) to support student learning is expected.
