ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of a guidance counselor are: provide support to the instructional process with specific responsibility for managing the placement of assigned students; provide information and recommendations to parents and students; and assist in the development of goals and plans for achievement.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess an active TN school services license with an endorsement in Guidance. Previous job experience teaching is preferred, but not mandatory. Other qualifications include demonstrated organizational skills, and effective decision-making, verbal, and written communication skills.
