Educational Assistant (full-time) - Creekside Middle

Under the direction of the special education teacher or designee, this person assists in the supervision, care and instruction of students in grades 6-8 on an Individual Education Program (IEP). Accompanies students with disabilities into general education settings and/or resource room settings and assists with tasks.

One positions available - 6.5 hours per day

One positions available - 7 hours per day

Beginning hourly rate: $17.37/hour and up, commensurate with related experience.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• A pply for and maintain an Educational Aide Permit from the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW). The HR office can assist you with the short application process.

Individuals that are offered a position shall be required to submit to an FBI/BCI criminal background check. Failure to satisfactorily pass the criminal background check based upon the discretion of the Board of Education will preclude an individual from employment with the Fairfield City School District.
