Y-Quest Coordinator – Apollo Middle School

Are you ready to make a lasting impact on middle schoolers in Davidson County? The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for a passionate and organized Y-Quest Coordinator to lead our middle school programming and create a fun, supportive, and transformative environment for kids.

This is an in‑person position is located at our Y-CAP office in East Nashville with an after‑school component requiring an onsite presence at Apollo Middle School, Monday–Thursday from 3:30pm to 6:00pm. A flexible schedule between these shifts is required to support administrative responsibilities.es.

• Lead Y-Quest after-school and summer programming, including curriculum implementation and staff supervision.
• Build relationships with students, parents, and community partners like Metro Nashville Public Schools and the Nashville After School Alliance.
• Track attendance, manage data in Salesforce/Apricot, and coordinate transportation when needed.
• Recruit, train, and inspire program staff and volunteers.
• Oversee administrative tasks like payroll, reporting, and inventory.
• Be a role model and advocate for social-emotional learning and community engagement.
• Supervision of middle school children in an after-school setting

• A valid driver’s license.
• Bachelor’s degree (related field preferred) with 1-2 years of youth development experience, OR high school diploma with 4 years of experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings.
