Production Engineer - Powder Metallurgy (PM) and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP)
- Drive efficiency, reliability, and scalability in powder metallurgy and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) operations
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies to boost throughput and minimize process variation.
- Optimize sintering and HIP parameters to enhance material properties, consistency, and production yield.
- Leverage real‑time monitoring and sensor data to detect and address process deviations proactively.
- Utilize statistical analysis tools to support continuous improvement and root cause resolution
- Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields
- Experience in Non‑destructive testing (NDT)
- Expertise in advanced materials processing including powder compaction, sintering, Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP), and defect control
- Strong foundation in materials science concepts such as phase diagrams, grain growth, diffusion, and microstructural analysis.
- Proficient in inspection and analytical methods (metallography, SEM, EDS, XRD) and statistical tools (Minitab, Excel macros) for root cause analysis.
- Comprehensive knowledge of quality management systems (NADCAP, ISO 9001, AS9100) with experience collaborating across design, R&D, supply chain, and QA/QC teams
